Job summary

Caterpillar Morton Distribution Center is seeking Warehouse Associates for 2nd and 3rd shifts. Starting wage is $19.91/hour with a $1.00/hour night shift premium. Responsibilities include material handling, use of scanners, and operating various warehouse equipment.

Qualifications

• Must follow safety PPE and procedures at all times.
• Be reliable with attendance and able to meet productivity goals.
• Adapt to varying temperatures and overtime when required.
• Capable of learning multiple warehouse processes and tools.

Responsibilities

• Safely handle materials through receiving, processing, storing, packing and shipping.
• Operate handheld scanner to access and update receiving and order data.
• Be trained on order pickers, reach trucks, sit-down forklifts, and overhead hoists.
• Record defects and report repairs promptly.
• Assemble wooden shipping containers with pneumatic or power tools.
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping in assigned areas.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervision.
