Job summary

McHenry Electric, Inc is seeking a hands-on warehouse worker to join our team in Florida. This role involves outdoor duties including receiving and shipping materials, yard maintenance, and occasional field support for technicians.

A clean driver’s license is required, and the work schedule runs Monday through Friday with daytime hours. The ideal candidate will have experience with material handling, forklift and pallet jack operation, and basic inventory management.

Responsibilities

McHenry Electric, Inc is growing quickly, and we're hiring! We are currently in need of a warehouse worker to join our team.

We are currently in search of a candidate that is self-motivated and will be responsible for a variety of outdoor work that includes but is not limited to: incoming and outgoing material, maintaining a clean and organized shop room, delivery runs, daily yard maintenance (general lawn maintenance duties including applying fertilizers, maintaining the landscape design, removing weeds and dead plants), as well as basic field work to help our technicians on job sites such as digging ditches, offering a helping hand, and delivering material needed on job sites.High attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. This position requires good stamina, physical health, and strong problem-solving skills to handle unexpected situations as this position is strictly outdoors due to our warehouse not having central A/C or heat.

A clean driving license is a MUST. As of right now, we do not currently offer reimbursement for relocation or daily travel.

Qualifications

• Experience with Shipping & Receiving and Packing, including verifying orders and preparing materials for delivery.
• Proficiency in Unloading trucks safely and efficiently, using appropriate methods and equipment.
• Ability to operate Forklift and Pallet Jack equipment in accordance with safety standards and company policies.
• Basic inventory management skills, including labeling, tracking, and organizing materials.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to OSHA and company safety guidelines.
• Physical ability to lift, carry, and move 50lb+ materials and equipment as needed throughout the shift.
• Reliable attendance, punctuality, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Previous warehouse experience is required; experience handling construction or electrical materials is a plus.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
• Basic electrical knowledge of familiarity with electrical materials and equipment is preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions, including both high and low temperatures is required.
