Warehouse Associate 2

Division/Department:

Reports to:

Warehouse Manager

Job Overview:

Experienced warehouse associates are responsible for storing, verifying, and unloading merchandise including but not limited to selecting packaging, scanning and labelling.

  • Load or package boxes and crates for shipping while ensuring accuracy of contents
  • Assist with packing materials distribution and disposal of empty boxes
  • Stock items in assigned locations within the warehouse and take part in the inventory count process
  • Accurately pick merchandise from existing stock to fill customer’s orders using an RF scanner
  • Unpack boxes following standard procedures

Additional Responsibilities:

  • As assigned by the manager

Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Must be able to Lift 50lbs independently
  • Extended periods of standing/walking (10+ hours/day)
  • Attention to detail and ability to count
  • Must be able to locate and identify specific items
  • Must be able to use of a hand scanner to enter data in a computer system
  • Must be able to manually pack and seal boxes following standard procedures

Preferred Education, Experience and Licenses:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in a Warehouse
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Physical Environment/Occupational Risks:

  • Must be able to lift 50lbs independently and up to 80lbs with assistance.
  • Extended periods of standing/walking

Required Schedule:

Sunday 9am-6pm; Monday-Thursday 11:30am-7:30pm
