Job summary

Busch Vacuum Solutions in Virginia Beach, VA, is seeking a Warehouse Associate II to join our United States headquarters team. The role supports warehouse, production, and distribution through material movement, inventory control, and operation of advanced equipment, with increasing independence.

This full-time, onsite position runs Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM, offering a targeted hourly compensation of $19.00–$21.00 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 4–6 years of warehouse or material-handling experience.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control and shipping/receiving processes.
• Experience operating forklifts and material-handling equipment.
• Experience with reach trucks and order pickers preferred.
• Advanced forklift certifications preferred.
• Experience mentoring or training less experienced teammates preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

We have an immediate opportunity for a Warehouse Associate II at our United States Headquarters in Virginia Beach, VA.

The Warehouse Associate II is an experienced material handler responsible for supporting warehouse, production, and distribution operations through material movement, inventory control, and advanced equipment operation. Working with greater independence, this role handles a variety of materials, supports inventory accuracy, assists with process improvements, and provides guidance to less experienced warehouse associates.

This is a full-time, onsite position working Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM.

Job Responsibilities

Essential Functions

• Perform accurate picking, staging, and delivery of production materials and finished goods.
• Handle high-value, sensitive, or specialized materials using appropriate documentation and handling procedures.
• Conduct cycle counts, investigate inventory discrepancies, and support inventory audits.
• Safely operate forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, pallet jacks, and other material‑handling equipment.
• Support receiving, storage, shipping, and material movement activities as needed.
• Provide guidance and support to less experienced warehouse associates on established processes and best practices.
• Support 5S, Lean, continuous improvement, and warehouse efficiency initiatives.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Support warehouse, production, and distribution operations as assigned.

Required Experience

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 4–6 years of progressive warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or material‑handling experience required.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control and shipping/receiving processes.
• Experience operating forklifts and other material‑handling equipment required.
• Experience with reach trucks and order pickers preferred.
• Advanced forklift or equipment certifications preferred.
• Experience mentoring or training less experienced team members preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities.

Computer Skills:

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word): Required.
• Experience using warehouse or inventory management systems preferred.

Job Requirements

• Ability and willingness to pass a 10‑panel drug screen, 7‑year criminal history check
  • Most felonies are a disqualifier, misdemeanors are considered on a case‑by‑case basis
• Ability and willingness to travel occasionally (up to 10%) for training purposes
• Valid Drivers’ License must be maintained throughout employment that meets Busch insurance standards
• Employment with Busch Vacuum Solutions requires current work authorization in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Regular operation of forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
• Ability to safely work around moving machinery and warehouse traffic.
• Must be able to hear and respond to alarms and notifications.
• Ability to wear required PPE, including safety glasses, safety footwear, hearing protection, and other required equipment.
