Job summary

Lonestar Electric Supply is seeking a Warehouse Associate 2 to join a dynamic team in Houston. You will perform duties ranging from receiving and stocking products to packing, loading, and maintaining a safe, organized warehouse.

The role requires 2–4 years warehouse experience, ability to operate hand trucks, pallet jacks and forklifts, and accuracy in inventory. Epicor Eclipse ERP experience is a plus, and a customer-service mindset is valued.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of warehouse experience.
• Ability to operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts.
• Strong reading and communication skills.
• ERP experience preferred (Epicor Eclipse).

Responsibilities

• Receive, verify, and stock various products utilized in the electrical industry.
• Review orders, pull requested items from shelves, examine for accuracy, and wrap for transport.
• Provide loading and unloading support as needed.
• Update databases timely and provide accurate inventory counts as requested.
• Follow processes and procedures as instructed by your Warehouse Lead or Supervisor.
• Help maintain a clean and organized working environment.
• Follow established safety guidelines and proper protocols.
• Provide excellent customer service to our internal and external partners, customers, logistics professionals, vendors as well as vendor partners and employees.
• Proactive communication to management regarding issues and concerns.
• Other tasks as assigned by leadership.

Lonestar Electric Supply and its subsidiaries are looking for a Warehouse Associate 2 who will work with a dynamic team of individuals to perform various tasks related to fulfilling orders, packaging, stocking, loading, unloading, and ensuring the general organization and safety of the warehouse. Requirements

• Ability to operate various types of material handling equipment including hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts as needed.
• Strong reading and communication skills.
• Epicor Eclipse ERP experience preferred.
• 2-4 years previous experience working in a warehouse environment.

Physical Requirements:

• May be required to move up to 40 lbs.
• Regularly works around moving mechanical parts and in warehouse conditions that are not always climate controlled and may include, heat and humidity.
• Noise level may be loud at times.
• Must be able to move objects and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue. Constant movement and use of limbs; this position requires good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina.
