Job Summary: The Warehouse Tech I re-palletizes cheese that has cooled and prepares it for warehouse storage. The Warehouse General Laborer works in a team environment to prepare cheese products to ship to customers. All tasks are performed in a busy environment with limited supervision.

The Warehouse Tech I will prepare, receive, order, and export warehouse deliveries, including job site content and consumables.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7am to 3:30pm, overtime as necessary

Wage: $17.00

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Re-palletize cheese that has cooled under 50 degrees.
• Sample and check the cheese; deliver to Quality Control for testing.
• Stack pallets of cooled cheese; inspect boxes for damage; report deficiencies.
• Clean spills promptly; keep work area orderly.
• Follow GMPs, safety, and sanitation requirements.
• Record production and warehousing data.
• Identify process variations; troubleshoot and report issues.
• Attend all required training.
• Support other areas as needed.
• Perform other duties as required to meet production demands.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift 25 pounds continuously; up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Stand and walk frequently.
• Read and perceive visual information.
• Climb ramps/stairs; push/pull materials.
• Sit rarely.

Personal Protective Equipment:

• Hearing protection, bump cap, hair net, uniform, safety glasses, shoes, gloves.

Tools and Equipment:

• Sampling tools, ergonomic lift table, cleaning tools, hand tools, knives, markers, iPad, scanner, computer.

Environmental Conditions:

• Refrigerated warehouse environment.
• Manufacturing conditions.
