Job summary

Veloz is hiring Warehouse Associates to join a busy, high-volume warehouse team. You will unload freight, move and stage product, and help orders get where they need to go. This is a temporary assignment through Veloz with a 1st shift schedule and overtime as needed.

Candidates should be reliable, hardworking and ready to be part of a team. Training is provided, and safety procedures are a core part of daily work.

Warehouse Associate – Full-Time, 1st Shift | $19.64/hr

About the Role

Veloz is hiring Warehouse Associates to join a busy, high-volume warehouse team. You'll unload freight, move and stage product, and help orders get where they need to go. No matter your level of warehouse experience, if you're reliable, hardworking and ready to be part of a team, we want to hear from you!

Schedule

• Full-time, 4 days a week (10-hour shifts), 5:00 AM start
• Overtime as needed. This is a 7-day operation, so schedules may vary.

What You'll Do

• Unload trailers and move freight throughout the warehouse
• Sort, stage and organize product for storage or shipping
• Pick, pack and prepare orders accurately
• Use handheld scanners to track product and support inventory accuracy
• Keep your work area clean, organized and safe
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Work with teammates and leads to meet daily productivity goals
• Report damaged product or safety concerns to your lead or supervisor

What You Bring

• Warehouse experience is a plus, but not required. We'll train you!
• Strong work ethic and a positive, team-first attitude
• Reliable attendance and availability for a consistent 4-day schedule
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to follow directions and safety procedures
• Availability for 1st shift, with flexibility for overtime

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift, carry, push and pull up to 50 lbs
• Stand, walk, bend, squat and reach for the full shift
• Work in a warehouse environment where temperatures may vary
• $19.64 per hour

Additional Information

This is a temporary assignment through Veloz, a staffing agency, with one of our client partners. Candidates must be 18 or older. Hiring includes a pre-employment drug screen (THC is not tested), a background check and E-Verify.
