Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Odessa, TX. Base pay starts at $18.25 per hour. The shift runs 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with potential overtime.

You will perform loading/unloading, operate a forklift and overhead crane, and assist with inventory control and ERP updates. A high school diploma or GED is required, and certification for forklift/overhead crane is possible.

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to become certified to operate a forklift vehicle and overhead crane.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials and products safely and accurately.
• Operate forklift and overhead crane.
• Inspect materials, equipment and tools for damage.
• Assist with inventory management and daily ERP updates.
• Maintain clean and orderly work environment.
• Assist in movement of inventory between workstations.
• Comply with all safety requirements and PPE.

Job Description

JOB DETAIL

Base pay starts at $18.25 per hour

Shift: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM - Monday - Friday (with potential overtime)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Warehouse Associates perform material and product loading and unloading activities to support the branch location. In their day-to-day duties, they operate a forklift, overhead crane and construction tools.

• Complete work assignments and customer orders safely, accurately, timely and without damage
• Assist co‑workers and customers
• Inspect materials, products, machinery, tools and equipment
• Assist with inventory management activities including daily updates to the ERP system
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment
• Assist in the movement of inventory within and among workstations and areas
• Comply with all safety requirements and use applicable personal protective equipment

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
• High school diploma or GED required
• A combination of education and experience may be qualifying
• Must be able to become certified to operate a forklift vehicle and overhead crane
