Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down propane forklift and maintain safe handling of materials.
• Maintain stock and inventory accuracy through routine checks and put-away procedures.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Customer-facing professionalism as part of daily duties.

We are currently seeking a Warehouse Associate. This is a full-time, direct-hire position Monday-Friday day shift at our branch in Indianapolis, IN. Small Team: You will be the only warehouse associate working alongside the warehouse manager. The other employees at this branch are delivery drivers bringing the orders to our customers. We need someone with strong warehouse experience and willing to perform various warehouse duties as needed.

Daily Duties Summary:

• Picking (primarily on foot with a cart), packing, shipping/receiving, loading/unloading, checking in materials, put-aways/stocking materials, forklift operation (sit-down propane), palletizing, skid wrapping, team and individual lifting, cleaning/general housekeeping, and other warehouse duties as needed.

Required Pre-Employment Screening:

10-Panel Drug Test. This includes testing for all forms of THC/Cannabis. Testing positive for THC will result in a failed drug test preventing employment.

Role Responsibilities

• An essential function of this role requires employees to lift and lower packages that may weigh up to 70 pounds. Attention to safety is vital, the use of proper lifting and lowering techniques should be used at all times (adjust your body position to bend, stoop, stand, walk, turn, and pivot). You may also need to become accustomed to the fluctuating temperatures in which you will perform your duties. As this position is customer-facing, an excellent customer focus attitude is critical for success.
• High School diploma or GED
• 1+ year of warehouse experience (receiving, picking, packing, shipping, loading/unloading trucks)
• Some Will Call experience a plus
• Basic computer knowledge
