Cardinal Health is hiring a Warehouse Associate for the first shift at the Columbus Consumer Health Logistics Center. The role supports inbound/outbound activities, receives and ships products, and requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced distribution setting.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and can read/write English. Training for equipment operation and safety is provided, with opportunities to advance in a well-established logistics operation.

Includes warehousing and fulfillment of materials and products, transportation, inventory management as well as demand, supply and manufacturing planning. Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers. ***Job Summary*** The Warehouse Associate assists on Inbound or Outbound activities as requested by the Warehouse Supervisor meeting quality, safety, productivity and operational standards. This job receives products in the Inbound section. As far as the outbound section, this job ships products. ***About the Consumer Health Logistics Center***The Consumer Health Logistics Center (CHLC) is Cardinal Health’s newest Pharmaceutical Supply Chain operation in Groveport, Ohio. This facility, featuring some of the latest innovations in automation technology, is approximately 350,000 square feet and picks, packs, and ships consumer health products. ***Responsibilities**** Follow established process to fulfill orders. This includes accurately picking products, performing quality control checks, packing products, and preparing orders for shipment.* Cross-training in multiple areas of the warehouse and participating in projects as needed.* Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks and maintain a clean and safe work environment.* Willingness to train and be certified to drive material handling equipment as required by job duty.
