Job summary

Batesville is seeking a warehouse associate to support safe handling and quality inspection of shipments, with a focus on quickly unloading inbound caskets and maintaining a clean, safe work area.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in warehousing, basic computer skills, and the ability to work flexible shifts including weekends. Forklift experience is a plus and RF tasks may be required.

Qualifications

  • 1-year prior warehouse or related experience.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to drive a truck within facility confines and learn how to spot trailers.
  • Dependable, honest, quick learner, good communication skills and team player.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including any days, shift, and weekends to ensure that the customer demand is met.
  • Ability to lift and/or move miscellaneous equipment and product weighing up to 50 lbs. frequently and over 100 lbs. occasionally.

This position will entail responsibility of the safe handling of shipments, proper care and handling of inventory and following safe practices and standard work procedures at all times.

The expected pay for this role is $20.50 per hour. Actual compensation within this range may be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to qualifications, skills, experience, and location.
