Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Warehouse Operator in Town of Charlotte, NY to handle order picking, packing, and shipment preparation. You will operate material handling equipment, use the WMS system, and work within a safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1-2 years related warehouse experience preferred.
• Basic proficiency in English is required, including reading and writing.
• RF scanner and/or voice-picking experience highly preferred.
• Ability to consistently lift 50 lbs and stand for long shifts.
• Must be able to work overtime with little to no advance notice.
• Willingness to operate material handling equipment and rotate through warehouse areas.
• Ability to work at heights up to 25 feet.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs to process orders including picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment.
• Pick large or small items with equipment and place on designated cart.
• Cross-train in multiple warehouse areas and participate in projects as needed.
• Use WMS to check in/out products.
• Operate material handling equipment as required (e.g., forklift, cherry picker, pallet jack).
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and assist with inventory control.
• Participate in associate meetings and report concerns to management.
• Comply with OSHA standards and Cardinal Health policies.
