Youngstown, OH - Retail shop

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for the safe and orderly stocking, storing, and labeling of all incoming materials and supplies at the warehouse for future redistribution. This role also involves picking, packing, and distributing materials and supplies for delivery via outside carriers or local Airgas drivers to customer locations.

In particular, you will:

1. Stocks, stores, labels, picks/packs, and distributes materials and supplies.
2. Validates delivery of materials and provides a physical receipt.
3. Performs periodic inventory of warehouse materials as directed.
4. Organizes and controls site warehouse inventoried items.
5. Reviews incoming and outgoing product invoices per Company policy.
6. Safely operates a forklift, pallet jack, or other warehouse/material handling equipment.
7. Follows appropriate Company policies and procedures (SOPs) related to distribution, safety, etc.
8. Performs general site housekeeping duties as required.
9. Performs other duties as assigned.

Are you a MATCH?

• HS Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Two years of prior experience in warehouse operations or maintenance preferred.
• Strong background in gas, welding, safety supply, or chemical industry preferred.
• Prior experience operating a forklift preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to work with diverse personalities and backgrounds.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Detail-oriented.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Mathematical skills for measuring and calculating.
• Physical ability to lift 25-50 lbs routinely, occasionally up to 80 lbs, and move up to 800 lbs with equipment.
• Frequent standing, bending, stooping, crouching, reaching, grasping, and repetitive motions.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Work environment includes moving mechanical parts and electrical hazards.
• Indoor and outdoor work in various weather conditions, from -10 to over 100 degrees.
• Loud noises and odors may be present for extended periods.
