As a Warehouse Associate at Wayfair, you are the engine of our logistics network, directly responsible for ensuring customers receive orders quickly and in perfect condition. What You’ll Do (Core Responsibilities)

• Handling & Movement: Safely load, unload, and move large and small furniture orders and inventory, manually lifting items up to 75 lbs. unassisted and maneuvering or team‑lifting products up to 150 lbs.
• Technology & Inventory: Use scanners, handheld devices (e.g., Nexus), and warehouse software to track, process, and update inventory and order locations across all stages.
• Quality & Preparation: Perform quality control tasks, including inspecting, assembling, repackaging, labeling, and sorting products to prevent damage before shipping.
• MHE Operation: When certified, safely operate material‑handling equipment such as order pickers, electronic pallet jacks, and reach trucks, often at high elevations.
• Safety & Teamwork: Strictly follow safety procedures, maintain a clean, organized area (5S), and ensure safety and efficiency.

What You’ll Need

• Physical capability: stand, walk, bend, lift, and work a full shift (≥8 hours) in a dynamic, non‑climate‑controlled warehouse.
• Capacity to lift and move merchandise up to 75 lbs. unassisted.
• Literate in English for safety instructions.
• Minimum 6 months experience with cherry picker, order picker, or related MHE.
• Comfortable working at heights up to 40 ft.
• Preferred experience: previous warehouse or logistics experience; High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Technical skills: basic ability to use computers, tablets, and handheld inventory devices.
