Job summary

Louisville Tile Distributors is seeking a Warehouse Associate to pick and pack orders, deliver great customer service, stage orders, does UPS and LTL shipments, receives material and uses a forklift. This is a first shift Monday - Friday position. Starting pay is $20.00 per hour.

Louisville Tile has been a family owned business for over 70 years with 13 locations. We provide cutting edge tile and setting materials to residential and commercial customers in KY, OH, IN, MI, and TN.

Qualifications

• 2 years of warehouse experience.
• Forklift experience.
• High School Diploma.
• Lift up to 90 lbs with safety training.
• Ability to work in a variable temperature warehouse and operate equipment and computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Order picking and packing using a pick list.
• Lift heavy material and load customer orders.
• Maintain inventory accuracy.
• Forklift driving.
• Receive incoming material; inspect for damage and correct box content.
• Note discrepancies in shipping on packing lists.
• Communicate with other departments on order status.
• Put material away and record bin locations.
• Keep building exterior and warehouse tidy.

Warehouse Associate Job Duties

• Order picking and packing using a pick list
• Lifting heavy material and loading customer orders
• Maintaining inventory accuracy
• Forklift driving

• Foster communication with other departments on the status of orders
• Put material away and accurately record bin locations
• Maintain tidy appearance of building exterior and warehouse

• Ability to lift and carry up to 90 lbs. in accordance with safety training
• Ability to work in warehouse environment with changing temperature and weather conditions, operate warehouse machinery and operate the computer system.
