Job summary

The Tile Shop in Wisconsin is hiring a Warehouse Associate to support receiving, stocking, and order fulfillment. You will operate a forklift, prepare orders for shipment, label items, and help maintain inventory accuracy in a fast-paced store environment.

Daily tasks include reading orders, assembling stock, sorting items by criteria, recording transactions, and assisting with cycle counts. Weekend availability is required; safety and teamwork are emphasized.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Knowledge of safety procedures.
• Ability to lift 50–100 lbs.
• Ability to work Saturdays on a 5-day schedule.

Responsibilities

• Read customer orders and assemble from stock onto pallets or shelves.
• Sort materials by size, type, style, color or product code.
• Complete inventory paperwork including shipping/receiving POs, open orders and cycle counts.
• Ensure inventory accuracy at all times.
• Label orders and back stock clearly.
• Load and unload customer vehicles and complete required paperwork.
• Process incoming freight in a timely manner.
• Operate equipment such as forklifts and inspect equipment for good order.
• Record product receipts and distributions, maintain cleanliness and organization.
• Enter records into computer and perform other duties as assigned.

Job Description

• Read customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to assemble customer orders from stock and place order on pallet or shelves.
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Complete all paperwork pertaining to inventory, which includes shipping confirmations, receiving confirmations, purchase orders, open orders, order check-off, and UPS.
• Ensure complete accuracy of store inventory at all times.
• Label all orders and back stock clearly.
• Participate in the cycle counting program.
• Load and unload customer vehicles; ensure proper paperwork is completed and signed off by the customer after loading of product.
• Process incoming freight trucks in a timely manner.
• Proper use of equipment, including but not limited to forklifts, to move inventory.
• Inspect equipment to maintain good working order.
• Record amounts of product received and distributed.
• Accountable for overall cleanliness/organization of the warehouse.
• Enter records into computer.
• Other duties as assigned.
