Cook & Boardman, LLC is seeking a Warehouse Associate to help ensure the warehouse runs smoothly and efficiently. The role involves preparing and completing orders, pulling inventory for shipments, labeling, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills, and good communication abilities. Prior truck driving experience is a plus, and adherence to safety procedures is required.

• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule.

• Operate and maintain warehouse equipment; follow safety regulations.

The Warehouse Associates helps ensure that the warehouse runs smoothly and efficiently. Complete all tasks assigned by the Warehouse/Operations Manager.

Essential Functions

• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
• Pull inventory for shipments
• Help with ensuring correct material is pulled and loaded on our truck for delivery
• Recording selected merchandise in accordance with standard operating procedures
• Ensuring correct and complete labels are attached to all orders processed
• Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
• Operate and preventively maintain warehouse equipment
• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations
• Working in accordance with all warehouse safety regulations
• Load finished product onto truck
• Navigate equipment through a warehouse to collect customer orders
• Follow all applicable safety regulations and processes as associated with driving, vehicle check, material handling and customer site specifics
• Interact with customers and the public in a professional and positive manner
• Counter sales to General Contractors
• Use technology to help manage the logistics process.
• Other relative duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma, or an equivalent combination of education/experience
• Must pass pre-employment background check and drug test

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Basic computer skills
• Knowledge of architectural door materials and hardware is a plus.
• Experience driving trucks for delivery preferred.
• Good communication skills
• Ability to accurately do arithmetic, read orders, write instructions and complete forms.
• Ability to work closely and cordially with other staff associates.

Physical Demands

Work Environment
