Job summary

Raymour & Flanigan is hiring a Warehouse Associate in the Suffern, NY area. The role focuses on the lifecycle of each customer's purchase, starting from showroom entry to loading trailers and prepping furniture for assembly.

You will be a key part of helping customers turn their house into a home. The position requires safety-consciousness, ability to operate material handling equipment, and physical ability to lift heavy furniture.

Qualifications

• Commitment to safety practices and maintaining a neat, safe work environment.
• Ability to become certified on material handling equipment such as order pickers and electric pallet jacks.
• Lift and move furniture up to 200 lbs and operate warehouse equipment at heights.

Responsibilities

• Assist in loading/unloading trailers and prepping furniture for assembly.
• Support customers by ensuring smooth warehouse operations and showroom flow.
• Operate or assist with order pickers, pallet jacks, and inventory scans as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized warehouse and comply with safety standards.

Warehouse Associate

Hourly pay rate: $20.00

Schedule needed: 9:30am - 8pm Friday - Monday (off Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday)

What You’ll Do

As a Warehouse Associate, you will play an important role in the lifecycle of every customer’s purchase. Starting with what they see when they enter the building. From the parking lot. To every trailer you load/off-load, each sofa you bin, to the dining tables you’ve prepped for assembly. You are a key part of helping every customer turn their house into a home.

What We Need From You

• Commitment to Raymour & Flanigan’s safety practices, promoting awareness, and maintaining a neat and safe work environment.
• Ability to become certified on material handling equipment, including but not limited to order pickers and electric pallet jacks.
• Routinely lift, lower, push, and pull furniture of all sizes up to and in excess of 200 lbs.
• Safely lift furniture while elevated on warehouse equipment at heights of 30-40 feet above ground.
• Experience operating an order picker, electric pallet jack, or an inventory scan gun is a plus.
