The Warehouse Associate is responsible for off-loading, putting-away, picking, and staging of equipment and parts while providing professional quality customer service to all internal and external customers. The warehouse associate is accountable for the movement of all materials within the warehouse and overall appearance while ensuring safety protocols are met.

Position Responsibilities include:
  • Safely and efficiently operate forklift and other warehouse equipment to load/unload/transfer materials and products without causing damage within the warehouse and to/from delivery trucks.
  • Ensure all items are received per procedures and stocked in assigned locations.
  • Maintain inventory and prepare cycle counts.
  • Complete Will Calls.
  • Accurately complete paperwork and transaction entries in a timely manner.
  • Always wear proper PPE and uniform during each shift.
  • Follow good housekeeping and safety procedures, including pre- and post-shift forklift inspections. Report concerns immediately.
  • Assist customers and CSRs as needed.
  • Follow standard operating procedures, established work processes, and company policies.
  • Perform additional tasks as required.
Nature & Scope:
  • Possesses broad theoretical job knowledge.
  • Works within established procedures with limited discretion.
  • Work is closely supervised and problems are typically straightforward.
  • Explains facts, policies, and practices related to the job area.
Knowledge & Skills:
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and surroundings.
  • Basic computer skills, including data entry, report generation, and order processing.
  • Ability to load/unload products successfully.
  • Ability to operate forklift safely and work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Ability to pass Prove It and driving tests.
  • Must be eligible for forklift certification within 30 days.
  • Dependable, team-oriented, and able to establish positive relationships.
  • Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse.
Experience:
  • At least 1 year of industrial forklift experience preferred.
  • At least 1 year of warehouse experience.
Education/Certification:
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Valid driver’s license.
Physical Requirements / Work Environment:
  • Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations.
Reports To:
  • Warehouse Manager
