Job summary

Staffmark is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Vandalia, OH to support daily warehouse operations, including picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory handling, with emphasis on safety and accuracy. The role requires strong attention to detail, dependable attendance, and the ability to lift and move HVAC equipment and parts.

Forklift experience is a plus, as is familiarity with inventory systems and warehouse equipment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, inspect, and organize HVAC equipment, parts, materials, and supplies.
• Pick, pull, pack, and stage customer and contractor orders accurately for shipment or delivery.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material-handling equipment safely.
• Load and unload trucks while ensuring products are secured and protected from damage.
• Label, stock, organize, and count inventory to maintain accurate warehouse records.
• Verify shipment quantities, review paperwork, and prepare outgoing orders.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Support shipping, receiving, inventory, and general warehouse operations as needed.

Pay Rate: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

• Familiarity with inventory management and order fulfillment processes is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift certification or prior forklift operating experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately pick, pack, and stage orders.
• Dependable attendance and ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Team-oriented with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience using inventory systems, scanners, or warehouse management software is a plus.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull HVAC equipment, parts, and warehouse materials, including heavier items.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday.
• Ability to safely load, unload, move, and organize products in a warehouse setting.
• Comfortable working in a busy warehouse environment while following safety guidelines and wearing required PPE.
