Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Middle Tennessee, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Associate for Berry Rd Salvage to support warehouse, salvage and recycling operations.

The role includes loading/unloading trailers, labeling and wrapping shipments, and assisting with material handling of textiles, hard goods, and furniture. You will sort products for salvage or recycling, weigh containers, and operate pallet-jacks and tipping equipment, while maintaining a clean, safe work environment and learning job

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and do basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
• Ability to follow verbal instructions and to work as a team member.
• Must have the ability to lift or carry loads weighing over 50 pounds continuously.
• Must be able to use a pallet-jack to move containers on to trucks for shipment.
• Sort product into categories for Salvage or for Recycling.

• Be knowledgeable of and follow company policies and procedures, as well as legal requirements, at all times.
• Regular, reliable attendance, as defined in Goodwill's attendance policy.

Job Summary: The Warehouse Associate may be assigned to multiple areas of the operation that include warehouse, salvage, and recycling operations. The associate as directed maybe assigned to load and unload trailers, label and wrap product shipments, assist with material handling of textiles, hard goods, and furniture.
