Job summary

Wholesale Electric Supply Co Of Hou is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our team. You will receive, store, and distribute materials, help with shipping and receiving, and ensure accurate order fulfillment for sales staff.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year warehouse experience, a high school diploma, and be able to operate standard warehouse equipment safely in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• One or more years of prior warehouse experience.
• Forklift certified preferred but not required.
• High School diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, storing, and distributing materials, tools, equipment, and products within the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions.
• Assisting in shipping and receiving material, unloading trucks, checking in merchandise.
• Matching purchase orders to sales orders and distributing to sales associates for processing.
• Moving materials and items from receiving or storage areas to other designated areas.
• Sorting and placing materials on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Filing requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials.
• Distributing items to shipping or other designated areas for route drivers.
• Ensuring the warehouse is accessible and safe for salespeople and customer traffic.
• Assembling customer orders from stock.
• Placing orders on pallets or shelves.
• Relocating orders to a holding area.
• Marking materials with identifying information using assigned methods.
• Logging materials received or distributed.
• Assisting in counting of physical inventory.
• Maintaining the warehouse facilities to ensure cleanliness.
• Performing additional assignments per supervisors direction.
• Properly label all completed wire cuts with applicable information, including customer label.
