Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a DC/Warehouse Associate to support parts picking, packing and staging within our distribution center. You will operate handheld RF scanners, move boxes, and assist with daily warehouse tasks to keep operations running smoothly.

The role requires at least 18 years old, legal eligibility to work in the United States, and willingness to work various shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays. Safety-focused teammate with basic math skills is welcome.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Basic math strategies: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Job Description

Our DC/Warehouse Associates are a vital part of our warehouse and assist in, but not limited to: pick pack and stage parts, utilize hand-held radio frequency devise (RF scanners), and move boxes throughout the distribution center.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Eligible to work in the United States
• Ability to work on various shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals
• Basic math strategies: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

Preferred Skills

• Prior warehouse training or experience is preferred but not required

Physical Requirements

• Stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach with arms, talk and hear
• Frequently required to stop, kneel and crouch
• Occasionally required to sit, climb, or balance
• Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
• Have specific vision abilities which include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus

Compensation Range The good faith estimate for this role is 22.15 USD per hour for a new team member. The rate offered depends on a number of factors, including geographic location, experience in retail, automotive knowledge, education, leadership roles, and other skillsets ideal for this position and shift differential (if applicable).
