Warehouse Associate

Pay: $25.80 per hour

Shift & Working Hours: Monday – Friday; 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM; Weekends/Overtime as needed.

Hire on Bonus:

• $500 bonus after completing 30-day probationary period
• $500 bonus after completing 6 months of employment

Total of $1,000 bonus

In this role, you’ll be a key member of our warehousing team, performing processes that ensure successful delivery of final products. You’ll gain skills in warehouse operations including coordinating inbound/outbound deliveries, packing/loading using a forklift, assisting with cycle counts, and organizing warehouse areas. You’ll operate daily on a forklift and use other machinery as needed. Join our team to be part of a member-owned co-op that is Rooted In Tomorrow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complies with all safety processes and practices
• Shows up on time, completes tasks by deadlines, and adapts quickly
• Processes work orders by selecting correct products, palletizing, shrink-wrapping, and staging for delivery
• Multitasks and keeps up with demands in a fast-paced environment
• Follows all standard operating procedures
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of work area
• Successful forklift certification required

Required Experience and Skills:

• Must be 18 years or older
• 6+ months of manufacturing experience
• Basic computer and math skills
• Ability to read, write, understand, and follow instructions
• Willingness to learn, problem-solve, and troubleshoot
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, respectful attitude

Preferred Experience:

• 1+ year warehousing experience
• Forklift experience

Physical Requirements:

• Lift/carry up to 50 pounds
• Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, and climbing
• Perform duties wearing PPE
• Work in temperature zones including cold/hot environments, possibly with dust and chemicals
• Work scheduled shifts including weekends, holidays, and overtime

Internal Candidates: Hourly employees should be in their current position for at least six months before applying, unless approved by their manager. Candidates on final warnings or performance plans are not eligible.
