Job summary

DXP is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Addison, IL to support inbound receipts, verify shipment paperwork, enter inventory, and pick and pack orders. You will create packing slips, labels, and schedule carriers while tracking order status with customers by phone and email.

You will maintain accurate inventory counts, investigate discrepancies, coordinate freight, and use Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word) for daily tasks.

Summary:
Under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor/Manager, the Warehouse Personnel will receive incoming inventory deliveries, verify shipment paperwork, enter inventory into the system, pull and pack inventory to fulfill customer orders, create packing slips, labels, schedule carriers, follow up on the order status with internal and external customers via phone and email, manage inventory counts, identify discrepancies, conduct investigations, coordinate freight pick-ups and deliveries for time-sensitive orders, including cost analysis and handling claims, utilize Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word) for various tasks, perform light instrument technician duties, servicing instruments and safety equipment.

Responsibilities of the Warehouse Associate include, but are not limited to:

• Works within our repackaging and shipping/receiving departments
• Receives incoming packages from shipping carriers
• Carefully packages outgoing products and creates shipping labels
• Maintains accurate inventory counts of products in warehouse
• Assists with accurately picking product from warehouse
• Documents paperwork in support of work done
• Audits incoming and outgoing paperwork and product as being correct
• Prevents damage to product through careful handling

Qualifications of the Warehouse Associate include, but are not limited to:
