Job description

The Warehouse Associate performs a variety of warehouse/distribution related functions accurately and efficiently to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction. This position requires proficiency in at least one or more distribution-related activities such as receiving, stocking, order filling, packaging, or shipping.


This role emphasizes safety and operational expertise within a quality and productivity-driven environment.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform warehouse duties including receiving, stocking, order filling, packaging, and shipping.
  • Receive, unload (via forklift, pallet jack, or manually), and verify incoming freight.
  • Verify product quantities and conditions, follow proper stocking procedures, and manage overstock appropriately.
  • Prioritize and fulfill orders using warehouse equipment, routing items to the correct processing areas.
  • Pick, package, and label products accurately for shipping and distribution.
  • Ensure shipping orders match documentation and utilize appropriate shipping lines.
  • Address and resolve issues related to damages, shortages, or inventory inaccuracies.
  • Conduct cycle counts and maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • High school diploma/GED with 1-2 years of material handling or warehouse experience.
  • Ability to operate forklifts, rider reach trucks, stock pickers, or hand trucks; forklift certification required.
  • Knowledge of Warehouse Management Software or Logistics Solutions is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, independently or in a team.
  • Strong reading and comprehension skills for documents like instructions and shipping tickets.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 80 pounds, with frequent lifting of 40-60 pounds.
  • Ability to stand and walk on concrete surfaces for 8-10 hours daily.
  • Experience with RIF Scanner and SAP is preferred.

Hourly Pay: $17


Pay varies based on factors such as labor market, education, skills, experience, and certifications. Incentive bonuses may be available based on organizational performance.
