Warehouse Associate

Location: TXHO5 Public Store

Part-time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 7:00am - 5:00pm

Hours: Up to 28 hours/week

OVERVIEW:

Embark on your journey as a Part-time Warehouse Associate, where you're at the heart of our operations. You'll handle the flow of products entering and leaving the facility and engage in inventory management for a leader in industrial distribution. This position is based at our branch located at 12636 Market St, Houston, TX 77015. After onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals, flexible scheduling may be available.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Managing and maintaining branch inventory
• Receiving, picking, packaging, shipping, and cycle counting inventory
• Making local deliveries with a company vehicle as needed
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Performing other duties to ensure branch success

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

• 18 years of age or older
• Valid driver's license in the country where the job is located, with the ability to meet driving record requirements for using a company vehicle
• Proficient in written and oral communication
• Proficient computer skills
• Ability to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organization, planning, and prioritization skills
• Highly motivated, self-directed, customer service oriented
• Attention to detail and a sense of urgency
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Alignment with core values of ambition, innovation, integrity, and teamwork
• Ability to lift, slide, carry, and lower packages weighing 25lbs-50lbs, up to 75lbs
• Pass drug screen (applicable in US, Puerto Rico, Guam)
• Pass background check as required by the customer/contract

PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience in receiving, shipping, sorting, or managing inventory
