Job summary

World Electric is hiring a Warehouse Associate to join our team. This full-time position supports receiving and material handling within our Florida warehouses as part of the Sonepar group.

You will read schedules and orders, identify items, and ensure accurate recording and distribution of goods, contributing to efficient warehouse operations and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Reading production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, packing slips, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Marks materials with identifying information.
• Opens bales, crates, and other containers.
• Verifies and records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
• Drives equipment to transport items within the warehouse.
• Uses computer to enter records.
• Compiles worksheets or tickets from customer specifications.
