Job summary

Ontivity is seeking a Warehouse Technician to join our Montana team. The role focuses on organizing merchandise, loading/unloading shipments, and delivering materials to job sites as needed. You will perform basic maintenance on trucks, trailers, equipment, and grounds, while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse.

Candidates should be mechanically inclined, self-motivated, and team oriented. A valid driver’s license with the ability to obtain a DOT physical is required; CDL Class A

Qualifications

• Experience organizing and loading shipments.
• Willingness to travel to various job sites.
• Must have valid driver’s license and be able to obtain a DOT physical.
• CDL Class A is a plus; forklift/skid steer certification preferred.
• Ability to pass background/MVR/drug screenings.

Responsibilities

• Organizing merchandise and loading/unloading shipments.
• Deliver materials to job-sites as needed (2–3 day trips possible).
• Perform basic maintenance on trucks, trailers, equipment, and grounds.
• Keep warehouse clean, organized, and well-maintained.
• Inventory tools and equipment issued to crews.
• Care for vehicles, clean them and drive responsibly.
• Follow safety guidelines in the safety manual.
• Operate per manufacturers' standards and use PPE correctly.
• Learn basic knot tying and safe rigging for trailers.
• Maintain valid driver's license and pursue DOT certification as needed.
• Pass background/MVR/drug screenings for security clearances.
• Know use and care of basic hand and power tools.

Warehouse Technician Job Description

Essential Functions / Responsibilities:

• Organizing merchandise and loading and unloading shipments.
• Deliver materials to Job-sites on an as needed basis (may require travel of 2-3 days)
• Perform Basic Preventive Maintenance on Trucks, Trailers, Equipment, and Grounds.
• Responsible for cleaning, organizing and maintaining the warehouse.
• Inventory all tools and equipment supplied to employee and crews
• Care of vehicles, cleaning them regularly and driving them responsibly
• Follow all safety guidelines identified in company safety manual
• Perform all job tasks to manufacturers standards
• Perform all work safely and efficiently/always utilize correct PPE
• Learn basic knot tying and safe rigging principles required to load material on trailers
• Must have valid Drivers License and the ability to obtain a DOT physical certification. CDL Class A certification a plus
• Must be able to pass a background check/MVR/drug screen for government security clearances
• Must have complete knowledge on use and care of basic hand and power tools
