Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. seeks an on-site Warehouse Associate for our South Brunswick, NJ distribution center. You will perform put-away, picking, and loading/unloading operations, using PKMS and material handling equipment to move product efficiently.

This role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and strong communication skills. Daily duties include verifying cartons, adhering to safety standards, and supporting overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) are essential.
• On-site role with the ability to multitask and stay detail-focused.
• Ability to perform basic math operations and learn PKMS functions.

Responsibilities

• Operate and navigate warehouse management and receiving systems.
• Load/unload trailers and move product safely using MHE.
• Conduct dock searches and verify carton accuracy and paperwork.
• Put away and pick products across multiple zones and lanes.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area in accordance with OSHA requirements.
• Assist with hot orders and special handling as needed.

The Warehouse Associate position is located in South Brunswick, NJ.

You’ll be excited about this opportunity because you will....

• Utilize HubM system for putaway and picking transactions
• Effectively utilize MHE to complete receiving and picking functions
• Conduct dock searches for cartons as needed
• Systemically account for all cartons that are moved in assigned areas
• Work with the lead to prioritize any hot orders
• Physically and systemically load/unload trailers using RF equipment
• Use PKMS receiving and labeling of inbound product, including verification of OS&D's versus inbound paperwork for shipments
• Daily put away duties to include putting away of product on all types of MHE and loading of product to trailers as needed
• Picking and putaway of product from cross dock trailers and racks
• Verify products are in correct lanes
• Inspect all merchandise for damages and count discrepancies
• Safely and efficiently operate material handling tools and equipment
• Keep work area safe, organized and clean according to general warehousing practices and OSHA requirements daily
• Other duties as deemed necessary
