Job summary

The role requires 1–3 years of related experience, high school education, and good PC skills. You will operate pallet jacks and assist with cycle counts and inventory control, ensuring safety and accuracy across daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Pick, put away, stage, and distribute material and products within the facility.
• Conveys materials and items in a safe and responsible manner from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
• Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials or other stock items and distributes items to appropriate locations
• Sorts and places materials or items on racks or shelves according to predetermined sequence, such as size, type, or product code.
• Manages & returns excess material working with Department Leads and Supervisor
• Maintain adequate inventory levels and practices
• Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, or conveys orders to the packing station or shipping area.
• Perform daily customer and vendor pickups and deliveries as needed
• Perform daily cycle count in the raw material warehouse
• Assist in shipping and receiving functions
• Support other departments in areas where a Warehouse Clerk may help
• Timely and accurate completion of all special assignments or projects as required
• Ensure Compliance with all company safety standards
• Daily Reporting of time, materials movements, and job assignments

PPS is looking for a Warehouse Associate who will work in either inventory or picking/packing! We are supporting an advanced manufacturing company that is providing critical machined parts and subsystems for industry leaders in semiconductor, aerospace, defense, and other industries!

Pick, put away, stage, and distribute material and products within the facility. Returning all excess inventory to stock, packaging shipments, assisting in shipping/receiving, and keeping the warehouse organized.

Requirements

• 1-3 years ’related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in a warehouse manufacturing environment.
• High School education
• Strong PC computer skills.
• Ability to operate a pallet jack or dollies in a safe manner.
• Proven working experience as a Warehouse Worker
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
