Job summary

The Tile Shop, a nationwide tile retailer, is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Tampa to support order picking, packing, and loading activities. You will maintain accurate inventory, label stock, and assist with cycle counting in a fast-paced store support role.

Candidates must be able to read English, lift 50–100 lbs, and hold a High School Diploma. Forklift certification is preferred or willingness to obtain it. This full-time role emphasizes safety and teamwork in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write in English to process orders and paperwork.
• Candidate should demonstrate a strong work ethic and attention to safety.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items (50–100 lbs) on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Read customer orders and assemble items from stock onto pallets or shelves.
• Sort and place materials by size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Complete inventory paperwork including shipping/receiving confirmations and POs.
• Maintain accuracy of store inventory at all times.
• Label orders and back stock clearly.
• Support cycle counting and loading/unloading of goods.
• Operate equipment such as forklifts and inspect for safe operation.
• Record product receipts and distributions; keep area clean and organized.
• Enter records into computer; perform other duties as assigned.

Job Description

• Read customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to assemble customer orders from stock and place order on pallet or shelves.
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Complete all paperwork pertaining to inventory, which includes shipping confirmations, receiving confirmations, purchase orders, open orders, order check-off, and UPS.
• Ensure complete accuracy of store inventory at all times.
• Label all orders and back stock clearly.
• Participate in the cycle counting program.
• Load and unload customer vehicles; ensure proper paperwork is completed and signed off by the customer after loading of product.
• Process incoming freight trucks in a timely manner.
• Proper use of equipment, including but not limited to forklifts, to move inventory.
• Inspect equipment to maintain good working order.
• Record amounts of product received and distributed.
• Accountable for overall cleanliness/organization of the warehouse.
• Enter records into computer.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
