POSITION SUMMARY
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate receipt, storage, movement, inventory control, packaging, and shipment of materials and finished goods. This role maintains accurate inventory records within the ERP system, supplies production departments with required materials based on work orders and production schedules, prepares finished products for shipment, and supports shipping, receiving, and local delivery activities as directed by the Warehouse Manager and Leadership to meet operational and customer requirements.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Move inventory to and from the warehouse and coordinate inventory transfers with production and related departments.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, control inventory levels, and learn and manage all warehouse storage locations.
- Supply materials, equipment, and components to Assembly, CNC, Molding, and other departments to support production requirements.
- Receive, inspect, stock, and process incoming materials and shipments in a timely manner.
- Prepare daily outbound shipments, including creating packing slips, wrapping products, packaging, palletizing, labeling, and documenting shipments.
- Schedule and coordinate shipment pickups with carriers, including FedEx, UPS, DHL, and LTL freight providers.
- Load and unload delivery trucks and safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, order pickers, pallet jacks, scales, and related material-handling equipment.
- Accurately enter inventory, receiving, and shipping transactions into the company ERP system and maintain shipment documentation.
- Communicate with Customer Service, Purchasing, and other departments regarding shipment changes, discrepancies, shortages, or missing information.
- Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and orderly storage of inventory and racking systems.
- Package and ship finished goods according to shipping schedules and customer requirements while ensuring on-time delivery performance.
- Perform local deliveries as required and support shipping and receiving activities based on workload demands.
- Respond promptly to internal customer service requests and resolve issues efficiently.
- Ensure a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, quality, and productivity in all warehouse operations.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, safety requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to support operational goals and continuous improvement initiatives.

QualificationsJOB SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 2 years of experience using ERP systems or company-specific inventory control software.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn and effectively utilize company-specific software systems.
- Experience operating material-handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand carts; forklift certification or experience preferred, with training available.
- Ability to operate a light truck and perform local delivery duties as needed.
- Experience working with shipping carriers, including FedEx, UPS, DHL, and LTL freight providers.
- Ability to operate hand tools and basic mechanical equipment safely and effectively.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to read, write, and speak English and interact professionally with coworkers, customers, and vendors.
- Ability to maintain accurate inventory, shipping, receiving, and quality records.
- Demonstrated mathematical aptitude, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with the ability to identify solutions and keep operations moving efficiently.
- Action-oriented, deadline-driven, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and time-sensitive tasks.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
- 2 years’ experience in a warehouse role that includes working in an ERP System.
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Proven knowledge of warehouse policies and procedures
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work with all levels of staff
- Experience in aerospace manufacturing/warehousing preferred
