Job summary

Roofers Mart Inc in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support receiving, put-away, pick, pack, and loading operations in a fast-paced, safety‑focused environment.

You will maintain inventory accuracy, organize the warehouse, and collaborate with the Warehouse Foreman to resolve shortages and damage while adhering to all safety policies. The role requires lifting up to 80 lbs and may involve forklift tasks.

Qualifications

• Warehouse/inventory experience preferred.
• Experience with building materials preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Must pass E-Verify check

Responsibilities

• Maintain appearance, cleanliness, and organization of the warehouse.
• Receive and check-in materials.
• Store, organize, and retrieve inventory for shipments.
• Maintain warehouse location codes.
• Assist with inventory and loss control.
• Label and identify materials.
• Load and unload delivery vehicles.
• Build and wrap pallets for shipments.
• Assist with cycle counts and full inventories.
• Follow safety policies and PPE usage.

Warehouse Associate

Job Summary: Job responsibilities include receiving/inspecting inbound material, maintaining location codes in warehouse, pulling/loading walk-in customer orders, pulling/loading deliveries, warehouse organization, warehouse cleanliness, and participating in cycle counts and full inventories. This position will work directly with the Warehouse Foreman regarding material shortage/damage, assignment of location codes and target tasks. Must be able to consistently lift up to 80lbs. Warehouse experience with building materials is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with overall appearance, cleanliness, and organization of the warehouse.
• Receive and properly check-in all materials.
• Put away, organize, and retrieve inventory for shipments.
• Maintain warehouse location codes.
• Assist with overall inventory and loss control.
• Assist with labeling and identification of materials.
• Assist with trash and waste removal.
• Build and wrap pallets for secure shipments.
• Assist with quarterly cycle counts.
• Assist with annual full inventory counts.
• Inform the warehouse manager of any maintenance needs in the facility or outdoor areas.
• Assist in overall cleanliness and appearance of all outdoor storage areas and parking areas.
• Load, unload, and prepare the delivery vehicles.
• Assist warehouse manager with assigned tasks.
• Adhere to all safety policies, including wearing all required personal protective equipment.

Requirements:

• Warehouse/Inventory experience a plus.
• Experience with building materials preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, twist and climb ladders throughout shift.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• High School or equivalent preferred
• Must always maintain a professional appearance.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Must arrive at assigned start time daily.
• Team player and positive attitude towards customers and co-workers.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and pass an E-Verify check
