Ryder System, Inc. in Spring Hill, TN is hiring a Permanent Full Time Warehouse Associate to support our facility with state-of-the-art equipment and a safety-first environment. The role offers weekly pay, on-the-job training, benefits from day 30, PTO, and 401(k) with company match.

Expect duties including packing, loading/unloading, and material handling with forklifts. Pay starts at $23.75/hour with a $1.25/hour shift differential for 2nd shift, plus comprehensive benefits and employee

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of related warehouse experience required.
• One year or more related warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to read and perform basic mathematics in English for safety and work instructions.
• Learn to operate powered industrial trucks (stand-up/sit-down forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks) and related maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Package, kit and/or assemble orders and materials.
• Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers; ensure scanning accuracy.
• Perform picking and packing duties and ensure facility security at end of shift.
• Execute material moves and follow location policies and procedures.

Requirements

• May be required to operate manual and/or automated otherwarehouse/manufacturingequipment (such as a packaging line) intermediate preferred

• Ability to read, do basic mathematics in English for the purpose of safety, work instructions, policies, etc




• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted




• Ability to input data into the WMS computer system (s) in use

Responsibilities

• Package, kit and/or assemble orders and materials.




• Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers. Ensure all scanning is completed correctly. Help train dock employees on new procedures. Ensure facility is secure at end of shift; investigate/resolve scanning issues and housekeeping. Perform picking and packing duties. Check for evidence of product or container damage




• Perform the assigned tasks as described in the location's policies and procedures standards to include handling of materials within associated logical transactions




• Perform material moves with associated physical/logical transactions as required




• Participate in workgroup and other team activities for the purpose of self improvement and improving warehouse operations and related business functions




• Perform housekeeping duties for assigned area



• Performs other duties as assigned
