Job Summary

To ship all Gemini products to customers accurately and timely, supporting sales and providing excellent service.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Read all picking lists thoroughly and understand container specifications.
2. Utilize various machines for shipping purposes.
3. Pull product accurately and efficiently.
4. Enter information into X3 and Assistics computer programs.
5. Create rate quotes for all shipping methods.
6. Identify raw material codes and their uses.
7. Understand Hazardous waste requirements.
8. Visually identify color variances on substrates.
9. Work closely with Sales to understand customer needs.
10. Inspect equipment before use.
11. Follow all safety rules and OSHA standards.
12. Maintain clean and organized work areas.
13. Adhere to company policies and rules.
14. Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
15. Maximize productivity and efficiency.
16. Maintain a positive attitude.
17. Report for scheduled shifts on time and return from breaks punctually.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

1. Basic Math skills.
2. Effective communication skills (reading and writing).
3. Ability to operate a forklift.
4. Basic computer skills.
5. High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Physical Demands

Employees must occasionally stand, walk, sit, handle objects, reach, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, hear, taste, or smell. Repetitively lift/move up to 50 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made for disabilities.

Working Conditions
