Job Summary

The Warehouse Associate supports warehouse operations, including receiving freight, checking for damages or shortages, and distributing materials to proper stock locations. Responsibilities also include filling special orders, managing inventory, and supporting delivery and shipping processes.

Responsibilities

1. Receive incoming freight, check for damages or shortages.
2. Distribute materials to correct stock locations.
3. Fill special orders and backorders.
4. Coordinate with departments, carriers, and vendors regarding discrepancies.
5. Check and pack materials for delivery.
6. Understand truck routes and coordinate deliveries.
7. Maintain shipping equipment and work area safety and cleanliness.
8. Ensure inventory accuracy and proper labeling.
9. Maintain delivery vehicle condition and logs.
10. Operate equipment safely and adhere to safety regulations.
11. Support warehouse operations and communicate inventory issues.

Qualifications

• Two years of relevant work experience preferred.
• Experience with warehouse distribution, forklift operation, and electrical products is a plus.
• If driving, must meet age and licensing requirements.
• Proficiency with Windows, Internet, email, and SAP is advantageous.
