Description

Overview

Responsible for unloading freight from trucking companies at the direction of the Supervisor and Site Manager, using manual or powered equipment.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions: Handle unloading and breakdown of freight efficiently. May be trained to operate forklift/electric pallet jack.

Physical Demands

Regularly required to use hands, reach, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and occasionally sit, climb, or balance. Must lift up to 75 pounds regularly. Vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

Qualifications

• Warehouse experience is a plus.
• Experience operating forklift/electric pallet jack preferred.
• Ability to lift 50-75 pounds continuously.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and meet productivity goals.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays; overtime availability.
• Reliable transportation.
