Job summary

Freudenberg Sealing Technologies in Shakopee, MN is hiring a Warehouse Associate to support inbound, outbound and inventory control. You will ensure accurate order fulfillment, maintain safety and quality standards, and operate material-handling equipment as needed.

You will join a team committed to continuous improvement and compliance with ISO standards, while upholding a clean, efficient DC environment and supporting sustainability efforts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-3 years’ experience in warehousing or distribution.
• Adequate knowledge of warehousing procedures.
• ISO experience is preferred.
• Forklift and OSHA certifications preferred.
• Must be organized and able to adapt quickly to changes.

Responsibilities

• Carry out inbound, outbound, and inventory cycle counts for warehouse functions.
• Attend to other tasks as directed by the DC Supervisor or Manager.
• Maintain safety regulations and compliance with applicable policies.
• Maintain quality standards for performance, defects, damages, and quantity.
• Fulfill customer orders efficiently and accurately.
• Maintain a clean work area following 5S standards.
• Support sustainability initiatives and productivity improvements.
• Operate facility vehicles such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Adhere to ISO standards and participate in training sessions.

Warehouse Associate

Responsibilities

• The Warehouse Associate is responsible for carrying out an array of duties for all warehouse functions for the inbound, outbound, and inventory cycle counts, and/or managing, retrieving, and organizing stock.


• Warehouse Associates may also be required to attend to other tasks as determined by the Distribution Center Supervisor or Manager.


• Maintain safety regulations and compliance with all applicable regulations and policy requirements.


• Maintains quality standards with performance, defects, damages, and quantity.


• Fulfill customer order requirements with efficiency and accuracy to meet delivery expectations.


• Maintain a clean work area while following all implemented 5’s standards.


• Participates in sustainability initiatives.


• Work with the Distribution Center Supervisor to identify and execute on productivity and quality for the DC.


• Manage the use of facility vehicles such as lift trucks, sit-down forklifts, cherry pickers, and pallet jacks.


• Responsible for adhering to and maintaining ISO standards.


• Maintain professional skills by attending regular scheduled training, such as safety, quality, and performance.

Qualifications

• Must be organized and able to make changes swiftly.
