Job summary

Group-CBS in Seymour, CT is hiring a Warehouse Associate to support efficient warehouse operations and ensure accurate, timely processing of customer shipments.

You will receive and inspect incoming materials, help maintain inventory accuracy, operate forklifts and pallet jacks, and keep the warehouse organized and safe. Driver's license is required; 2–5 years of warehouse experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of warehouse experience preferred.
• Electrical industry experience is a plus.
• Driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, organized warehouse to support safe and efficient operations.
• Assist with inventory management, including labeling, shelving, and tracking stock levels.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with inventory audits.
• Follow safety guidelines and promptly report safety concerns.
• Communicate inventory and operational updates clearly with team members and supervisors.
• Maintain accurate documentation of inventory transactions and shipment details.

Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm

Overview

Education and experience

• Occasional sitting, reaching or working overhead, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
• Frequent walking
• Continuous standing and repetitive hand motion
• Frequent lifting of up to 150 pounds and continuous lifting of up to 10 pounds
