Salary Range: $20.00 - $24.00 Hourly
Description
Scope: All Warehouse Associates are responsible for various daily functions in the warehouse and on the facility grounds. Responsibilities include assisting in the safe off-load of bulk oils into appropriate tanks and totes, refilling portable bulk containers, receiving deliveries, and ensuring proper stock rotation (FIFO). Facility duties include property inspections, maintenance, and sanitation.
Significant Activities & Deliverables:
- Assist Operations Manager with HR objectives, including training, scheduling, coaching, and policy adherence.
- Oversee shipping, receiving, and organization of petroleum goods and supplies.
- Process reports and documentation related to warehouse activities.
- Receive and verify stock and non-stock items.
- Operate vehicles (truck, van, forklift) for transporting orders and materials.
- Deliver items to designated locations or individuals.
- Load and unload delivery trucks.
- Prepare orders for delivery, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Participate in physical inventories.
- Respond to staff inquiries regarding deliveries and activities.
- Maintain records, files, and tracking documentation.
- Maintain delivery vehicles.
- Clean warehouse and maintain facility grounds.
- Coordinate with Dispatch to expedite shipments safely and efficiently.
- Report to Warehouse Lead.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma, GED, or higher.
- Clean driving record.
- Forklift certification.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Abilities:
- Organization, math, and reading skills.
- Computer proficiency.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to establish cooperative working relationships.
Work Environment:
- Warehouse and outdoor environments.
- Exposure to elements, fumes, dust, odors, fuels, lubricants, propane.
- Oily, greasy, slippery conditions.
- Heights, noise, traffic, PPE requirements.
Physical Demands:
