Job summary

Lansing Building Products, LLC in Savannah, GA is hiring a Warehouse Associate. You will greet customers, pick tickets, and load/unload trucks, using RF scanners to move and track inventory in the TWL Warehouse Management System.

Verify order accuracy and shipments, lift up to 70 lbs, and keep the warehouse clean and safe. The role runs Monday–Friday starting around 7:00 AM and ending about 4:30 PM, with no guaranteed weekend work.

Qualifications

• Prior material-handling or warehouse experience preferred.
• High energy and integrity.
• Experience in building products preferred.
• Ability to work in a team and/or with customers.
• Ability and willingness to lift up to 70+ lbs.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Experience with a forklift is a plus.
• Ability to work under deadlines and adapt to new processes.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize handheld RF scanners to move, track, and manage products through our Warehouse Management System (TWL)
• Verify accuracy of orders picked and shipments received
• Lift and move boxes of building materials weighing up to 70 pounds

Qualifications:

• Prior material-handling or warehouse experience (preferred)
• High integrity and high energy
• Experience in building products as well as previous warehouse experience is strongly desired
• Ability to work in a team and/or one-on-one with our customers
• Ability and willingness to lift boxes and building materials weighing as much as 70+ lbs
• Strong customer service skills
• Experience with a forklift is a plus
• Ability to work successfully under the pressure of deadlines and to accept new ways of doing business
• Strong, positive attitude

A Warehouse Associate's day usually begins around 7:00 AM -- sometimes earlier -- and ends at approximately 4:30 PM -- Monday through Friday, generally no weekend work (hours may vary by location)
