Job summary

Lansing Building Products is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations in Savannah. You will greet customers, assist with loading and unloading, and ensure accurate order fulfillment using RF scanners and TWL warehouse management processes.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and safety, with standard hours Mon-Fri (approx. 7:00 AM–4:30 PM) and occasional location variations. CDL reimbursement and other benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Prior material-handling or warehouse experience (preferred).
• Ability to lift boxes and materials weighing up to 70+ lbs.
• Strong customer service skills and positive attitude.
• Experience using RF scanners and Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with loading/unloading trucks.
• Pick tickets and use RF scanners to move and track products.
• Verify accuracy of orders and shipments.
• Lift and move building materials up to 70 lbs.
• Keep the warehouse clean and organized.
• Work Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM (hours may vary).

Responsibilities

• Live our mission statement centered on our values of respect, service, and excellence
• Greet customers, pick tickets, and load/unload customer and company trucks
• Utilize handheld RF scanners to move, track, and manage products through our Warehouse Management System (TWL)
• Verify accuracy of orders picked and shipments received
• Lift and move boxes of building materials weighing up to 70 pounds
• Keep warehouse clean and orderly

Qualifications

• Prior material-handling or warehouse experience (preferred)
• High integrity and high energy
• Experience in building products as well as previous warehouse experience is strongly desired
• Ability to work in a team and/or one-on-one with our customers
• Ability and willingness to lift boxes and building materials weighing as much as 70+ lbs
• Strong customer service skills
• Experience with a forklift is a plus
• Ability to work successfully under the pressure of deadlines and to accept new ways of doing business
• Strong, positive attitude

A Warehouse Associate's day usually begins around 7:00 AM -- sometimes earlier -- and ends at approximately 4:30 PM -- Monday through Friday, generally no weekend work (hours may vary by location)
