Job summary

Merit Logistics is hiring for an Entry-level Warehouse Associate in Sarasota, FL. The role involves unloading freight from trucking companies at the Merit - Sarasota location under supervisor direction and at an ADEQUATE pace.

You may be trained to operate a forklift or electric pallet jack as needed. The position requires lifting 50-75 pounds regularly and working in a physically demanding warehouse environment with possible overtime.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Responsible for unloading freight from the various trucking companies with or without manual or powered equipment at assigned location at the direction of the Supervisor and Site Manager.

Responsibilities

• Associate handles the unloading and breaking down of freight at an adequate pace
• Associate might be trained to operate forklift/electric pallet jack
