SUMMARY: The Warehouse Associate is responsible for the completeness and accuracy of all customer orders filled. The right candidate will operate warehouse equipment such as forklift, barcode scanner, wrapper machine to build and send appropriate orders.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:In addition to those listed in the Summary section above, the following are duties necessary to meet the minimum requirements of the position. Other duties may be assigned:
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
- Retrieve customer orders or freight packing slips making sure part number and quantity are accurate for both inbound and outgoing products.
- Build and identify pallets with orders and position to the wrapper machine.
- Shrink wrap customer orders to pallets and move them to the loading docks.
- Repack and weigh any order that require such handling.
- Report quality and inventory variances.
- Stock raw and finished goods in warehouse manually or by using warehouse equipment.
- Distribute all raw materials to the production lines using requisitions by allocating the right materials from the warehouse.
- Perform all ERP transactions, from the warehouse to production departments.
- Pick, transact, and move material accurately using bar code scanning technology
- Correctly interpret numerical and alpha letterings and match accordingly to pick lists.
- Load customer orders’ pallets on trucks (LTL or FTL) once they have been billed and released to ship.
- Unloading trucks when receiving shipments.
- Maintain equipment and report on malfunctions.
- Inspect parts from floor to ensure quantities present match work order, process material transactions required and issue parts to jobs or place in stock location.
- Pulls parts for picking list, issue to job and stage materials paying close attention to Code Jobs and verifying code information as required.
- Pull parts for Material Requisitions from shipping, input material transactions and physically move parts to Shipping.
- Perform all ERP transactions to receive raw materials into inventory system.
- Arrange and execute floor stock replenishments.
- Assemble custom filter orders.
- Availability for daily/weekly overtime.
- Cross-train in other positions within the facility based on business needs .
- Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 2-3 years’ experience in a warehouse environment preferred
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organization and efficient time management skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
- Ability to speak English effectively to management and employees of organization.
- Ability to work with numerous large numbers and multiple units of measure.
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
- Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to satisfactorily complete a drug screen and criminal background check upon hire.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to office and warehouse environments, as well as various conditions of lighting, mixed forklift areas and packaging equipment. The work environment
will require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) in certain areas. Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
