Job summary

Bimbo Bakeries USA is seeking a Warehouse Associate in California to join our team. You will load and unload trailers, verify loads, and maintain the shipping yard to ensure accurate deliveries.

Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs, work nights and weekends, and communicate effectively in English. We offer medical, dental, vision, and retirement benefits to eligible associates.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• 1-3 years of shipping experience preferred.
• Ability to lift, push/pull up to 50lbs, stack/unstack or carry.
• Comfortable in a warm working environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to work Nights, Weekends & Holidays.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trailers and verify route loads and trailer reports.
• Maintain the shipping yard and count/check products for accuracy and quality.
• Maintain accurate records; report overages and shortages; participate in cycle counts.
• Operate material handling equipment including pallet jack and forklift.
• Troubleshoot issues with packing equipment, label machines, tapers, palletizers, etc.

What you will be doing:

Responsible for accurately loading and unloading trailers, verifying route load(s), trailer reports, and maintaining the shipping yard. Count and check products for accuracy and quality, maintain accurate records, report overages and shortages, & participate in "Cycle Counts". Operate material handling equipment; including pallet jack, forklift, etc. Troubleshoot issues with packing equipment, label machines, tapers, palletizers, etc.

What we need from you:

• At least 18 years of age or older.

• Ability to lift, push/pull up to 50lbs, stack/unstack or carry, stand and/or stoop for prolonged periods of time.
