Job summary

Valin Corporation in San Jose, CA is seeking a warehouse associate to receive, store, pick, pack, and distribute inventory. You will unload delivery vehicles, accurately identify items, and move materials in a safe, organized manner according to standard procedures.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and a Monday–Friday day shift from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm. Steel-toed boots are required, and a clean, collaborative work environment is expected.

Overview

Receive, store, select, pack, and distribute warehouse inventory. Typical Functions: Perform any and all physical requirements necessary to lift and move inventory around the warehouse. Operate and maneuver warehouse equipment and any material(s) contained thereon in the manner consistent with the intended purpose of the equipment and the manufacturers’ instructions. Maintain the warehouse in an orderly and clean state; follow all Company safety procedures; perform daily safety inspections. Unload delivery vehicles, accurately identifying material, breaking down material, and noting discrepancies. Accurately store product to the proper location following the outlined process; the use of light equipment may be required. Select and pack customer orders following the outlined process; ensure conformance to customer standards and expectations. May perform Delivery Driver duties as needed; operate a light van or delivery vehicle to deliver customer orders; ensure that customers orders are delivered to meet customer expectations.

Compensation Details

The expected pay rate for this position is starting at $25.50 per hour depending on experience.
