Position Summary

• The Warehouse Associate reports to the Store Manager
• Located in San Diego, CA
• Full-Time, In Office

As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in warehouse operations, focusing on receiving, stocking, order picking, and shipping. This position offers hands-on experience in a warehouse environment and contributes to smooth inventory flow and order fulfillment.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Receiving and Inspection:

• Examine shipment contents and compare with records to ensure accuracy.
• Communicate with leadership regarding damages, shortages, or non-conformance.

Inventory Management:

• Ensure received inventory is correctly placed within the warehouse.
• Assist in organizing and maintaining inventory.

Order Fulfillment:

• Perform order picking and assist with shipping.
• Sort and load delivery trucks for on-time deliveries.

Documentation and Customer Service:

• Ensure paperwork accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain a customer service-oriented attitude.

Equipment Operation:

• Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
• Handle items weighing up to 75 pounds.

Communication and Interpersonal Skills:

• Build positive relationships with customers and team members.

Problem-Solving and Safety:

• Apply sound decision-making and prioritize safety.

Competencies

• Attention to detail in verifying shipments and paperwork.
• Physical ability to lift 75 pounds and operate equipment.

Qualifications & Experience

• High School diploma or GED, or equivalent experience.
• 0-1 year in a warehouse environment.
• Experience with warehouse equipment is a plus.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Physical Requirements

• Lift 50 pounds.
• Bend, twist, stand, kneel, and maintain balance.
