Job summary

Cencora is seeking a warehouse support team member in Salt Lake City to help ensure the integrity of temperature-sensitive materials. You will monitor storage and shipment conditions, maintain traceability, and coordinate material movements through standard warehouse procedures.

The role requires a High School Diploma/GED and less than 2 years of related experience. Shifts include multiple days and early hours, with comprehensive benefits and development opportunities.

This role is in support of Cencora's distribution services in the US operating through our AmerisourceBergen business.

Shift

Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday 6:00am to finish

Pay

$19.00/HR

Responsibilities

• Monitors temperature-sensitive materials during storage and shipment preparation to help preserve required conditions
• Updates warehouse transactions, inventory records, and shipment documentation to maintain traceability and control
• Identifies on-hold, damaged, or non-conforming materials and routes them through defined handling procedures
• Coordinates material movement using approved warehouse equipment to support safe and efficient flow
• Prepares packaging materials and shipment areas to support timely outbound activity
• Escalates non-standard handling or inventory issues to support timely follow-up

Education

High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.

Work Experience

Less than 2 years of experience in warehouse support, distribution operations, shipping, receiving, inventory control, material handling, or a related field required.

Skills and Knowledge

• Knowledge in warehouse operations processes, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, staging, and shipping
• Knowledge in inventory control principles, stock movement tracking, and material traceability requirements
• Knowledge in temperature-controlled handling and cold chain support requirements for sensitive products and materials
• Knowledge in packaging materials, reusable shipping assets, and replenishment practices within warehouse operations
• Knowledge in shipment documentation, operational recordkeeping, and transaction processing requirements
• Knowledge in safe material handling practices and the use of warehouse equipment and tools
• Ability to follow established warehouse procedures and standardized work instructions
• Ability to maintain accurate records and update operational information in warehouse systems and logs
• Ability to identify inventory, packaging, shipment, and material handling exceptions for further action
• Ability to support timely and accurate order preparation and material movement activities
• Ability to manage multiple routine tasks across warehouse workflows while maintaining accuracy
• Ability to work with temperature-sensitive materials in line with defined handling requirements
