Job Description
PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Safely and efficiently perform a variety of duties within PBV’s warehouse operations to support both internal and external customers and meet business goals. Duties include pulling, loading, unloading, sorting, staging, stacking, building pallets, wrapping, transporting, counting, quality checks, dumping, rework, replenishing, and handling of PBV products, raw materials, packaging, and other warehouse goods.

Note: The specific duties may vary depending on the facility.

Pay range: $15.00 - $24.14

Responsibilities/Duties
  • Verify accuracy and quality of received and shipped products.
  • Perform check-in/check-out duties, maintain records (BOLs, receivers, pick tickets) according to SOPs.
  • Count returned goods, damaged or full/empty.
  • Operate yard switcher and trucks safely on premises.
  • Use automation systems and warehouse management systems to verify and record products, build pallets, and ensure accuracy.
  • Identify and troubleshoot machine faults, perform basic maintenance.
  • Operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, wrappers, etc.) safely and efficiently.
  • Perform safety checks on machinery.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including janitorial tasks.
  • Follow food safety and GMP guidelines.
  • Ensure work accuracy and quality.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Ability to pass forklift skills assessment and operate equipment safely.
  • At least 6 months of forklift experience preferred.
  • Mechanical aptitude, good math, reading, writing, communication skills.
  • Sorting and grouping skills, ability to read labels and load tickets.
  • Ability to count large quantities, understand procedures.
  • Ability to work in non-climate-controlled warehouse environment.
Essential Functions
Mental

Repetitive, fast-paced work requiring alertness.

Physical

Constantly (67-100%) lift up to 50 lbs; occasionally (0-33%) sit, read, climb, reach, kneel, bend, push, crawl, walk, stand.

Equipment Used

Yard switcher, trucks, dock plates, bay doors, floor scrubber, forklifts, palletizer, wrapper, automation equipment, communication devices, etc.

Supervisory Responsibilities

None required.

Language Skills

Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing English.
